The Commander of NATO’s Kosovo mission, KFOR, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, hosted the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, at KFOR Headquarters at Camp “Film City” in Pristina.
During the meeting, the two discussed the security situation in the region. Ulutaş reaffirmed KFOR’s commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all people in Kosovo.
The KFOR commander also expressed his appreciation for the United Kingdom’s continued and significant contribution to the NATO-led KFOR mission.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to carry out its mandate based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, contributing to security and freedom of movement for all people in Kosovo in an impartial manner.
In fulfilling its mandate, KFOR works closely with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX).
