The arrival of around 70 military vehicles and support personnel at Camp Bondsteel today marked the completion of the temporary deployment of additional reserve forces in Kosovo, in support of the NATO-led KFOR mission for training purposes.
A British contingent, consisting of more than 350 troops from the Scottish Guards, will now carry out joint training activities with KFOR personnel.
This activity is conducted regularly and is aimed at strengthening operational readiness and enhancing KFOR’s ability to effectively respond to relevant security developments.
Following the exercises, the Scottish Guards will return to their base in the United Kingdom.
