The Commander of KFOR’s Regional Command West (RC-West), Colonel Lorenzo Mangia, together with the Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) team, took part in a donation ceremony of specialized equipment for the “Haxhi Zeka” University in Peja.

RC-West donated a 3D scanner, a large-capacity 3D printer, and an innovative prototype for recycling plastic materials, supporting the university’s technological research and experimentation, while promoting innovation, sustainability, and knowledge transfer to the local manufacturing sector.

“In line with KFOR’s mandate, CIMIC activities aim to promote the well-being of all people in Kosovo by supporting local institutions and capacities in the field of education and training,” KFOR said in its statement.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate—based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999—to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner.
