KFOR Hosts Finnish Top Diplomat, Discusses Security and Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue

Brigadier General Cahit Irican, Deputy Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, received Finland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Acting Chairperson of the OSCE, Elina Valtonen, during an official visit at the KFOR headquarters in Camp Film City, Prishtina.

During the meeting, the two sides highlighted KFOR’s ongoing commitment to ensuring security and stability for all communities across Kosovo, as well as the importance of the EU-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

Brigadier General Irican commended the professionalism of the Finnish personnel and expressed gratitude for Finland’s continuous support for the mission, contributing to peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
