The NATO-led KFOR mission celebrated International Day at its headquarters in Prishtina, bringing together military and civilian personnel from 33 contributing countries, including NATO allies and partners, along with local staff and their families.
Commander Enrico Barduani highlighted the importance of unity during the celebrations:
“We are celebrating with the people who work for KFOR, those who stand alongside KFOR, and their wonderful families and loved ones. By sharing these moments, we hope to get to know each other better, because only by truly understanding one another can we feel united. Unity is the real value that binds us together and makes KFOR strong.”
The mission emphasized that the event underscores KFOR’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, mutual respect, and support among all its components—military, civilian, and local staff. This aligns with the motto of KFOR XXIX – “Unitas Omnia Vincit”, meaning unity conquers all.
