The renovated station of the multinational military police at KFOR’s headquarters, “Camp Film City” in Prishtina, was officially inaugurated in a ceremony. Lieutenant Colonel Christina Faustik handed over the keys to the facility to the commander of the multinational military police, Martin Frank.
The Multinational Military Police (MNMP) is composed of soldiers from Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Latvia, tasked with maintaining order and security within KFOR and providing support in military police matters.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate under UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, contributing to a safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and ensuring freedom of movement, impartially and at all times. KFOR works closely with the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
