Soldiers from various countries assigned to NATO-led KFOR’s Regional Command-East successfully completed the Norwegian Foot March at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.

This endurance test required participants to march 30 kilometers while carrying an 11-kilogram backpack, finishing within the designated time based on age and gender categories.

First introduced in 1915 as a resilience test for the Norwegian Army, the march has evolved into a prestigious honor for international military personnel, earning recognition as one of the most valued service medals.

KFOR continues to fulfill its mandate under UN Security Council Resolution 1244, ensuring a safe environment for all communities in Kosovo and securing freedom of movement. The mission closely cooperates with the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) to maintain stability and security in the region.
