KFOR has announced that Latvian soldiers assigned to the Regional Command East have carried out routine patrols in Leposaviq, located in northern Kosovo.
“These efforts are part of KFOR’s daily mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo,” said the statement from the NATO-led peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a secure and peaceful environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, ensuring freedom of movement at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR is also working in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX.
