Prishtina, July 20, 2025 — The NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) has announced that soldiers from Albania and North Macedonia have participated in an intensive training exercise aimed at crisis response and fire confrontation operations (“CRC & firephobia”).

The exercise, conducted with the support of Hungarian instructors from KTRBN, was designed to test and enhance the physical and mental resilience of the troops, while strengthening cooperation and teamwork among the participating units.

“This training is essential to ensuring security and stability in Kosovo,” KFOR stated in its official release.

KFOR reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to implementing its mandate under UN Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999), guaranteeing a safe and stable environment for all citizens and communities in Kosovo. This includes ensuring freedom of movement at all times in an impartial manner.

Additionally, KFOR emphasized its close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), both of which hold key responsibilities in maintaining security within the region.
