KFOR, NATO’s mission in Kosovo, announced that multinational troops from the Western Regional Command participated in the “Best Soldier Military Competition” at the “Villagio Italia” camp in Peja.

According to a media statement, the event brought together soldiers from across KFOR for a high-energy military sports competition designed to push limits and build resilience.

“During a challenging 15-kilometer march with full combat gear, participants faced running, physical exercises, endurance challenges, and key tactical tasks – including grenade throwing, CBRN responses, logistical supply, climbing slopes and ziplines, as well as shooting,” the statement said.

KFOR emphasized that their strong performance demonstrated determination, discipline, and a powerful spirit of cooperation – a clear reminder of the shared values and collective commitment that unite KFOR in its mission in Kosovo.
