KFOR Steps Up Patrols in Kosovo, Strengthens Coordination with Police and EULEX

Multinational KFOR troops have intensified motorized and foot patrols across several municipalities in western Kosovo, enhancing inter-unit coordination and maintaining a visible security presence on the ground.

According to an official statement, KFOR continues to implement its mandate under United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, aimed at ensuring stability, security, and freedom of movement for all communities in Kosovo.

The patrols are conducted in close cooperation with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), underscoring ongoing coordination between international and local security institutions.

KFOR reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment and to responding effectively to any security challenges, in line with its international mandate.
