KFOR, NATO’s peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, has released a video showing that they are ready to take all necessary measures for a secure environment in the country.
The video reminds that 4,600 troops from 28 NATO allies and partners serve in Kosovo to maintain the 351-kilometer border line with Serbia.
“A high level of operational readiness to prevent the risk of new escalation, regardless of where the threat comes from. We are ready to take all necessary measures to continue fulfilling our UN mandate at any time and in an impartial manner,” says the video published by KFOR.
KFOR typically reminds that it continues to fulfill its mandate as the third security responder in Kosovo, after the Kosovo Police and EULEX, the EU’s rule of law mission, with whom it says it works “in close coordination.”
