The Kosovo Judicial Council (KGJK) in today’s meeting, with no votes against and no abstentions, decided to propose to the President of the Republic of Kosovo to reappoint 45 judges with permanent mandates, reports Ekonomia Online.
This decision was preceded by the report of the Commission for the Performance Evaluation of the 45 judges with initial mandates, which expires on June 30.
Based on the evaluators’ assessments, the commission announced that 32 judges received a very good rating between 67 and 82 points, while 13 judges received an excellent rating between 82 and 89 points.
Also, in today’s meeting of the Kosovo Judicial Council, chaired by Albert Zogaj, a competition was decided to be announced for 20 judges in the basic courts of the Republic of Kosovo.
At the same time, an internal competition was announced for the position of President of the Basic Court in Gjakova and President of the Basic Court in Peja.
