Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declared that Israel “has just been punished,” in a message shared on social media, hinting that Iran is behind a renewed wave of attacks against the Jewish state amid escalating tensions, reports RKS News.
On Saturday morning, Israel reported a missile attack on the southern city of Be’er Sheva, targeting offices of Microsoft and several surrounding buildings, including residential structures. According to Gazeta Express, the strike caused extensive material damage and left five people injured, who were transported to Soroka Medical Center for treatment.
Emergency crews, including firefighters and paramedics, responded swiftly to extinguish the flames and assist the wounded. The suspected primary target was the Gav-Yam Technology Park, a high-tech hub that hosts several major international companies operating in Israel.
Iranian officials had previously warned that this park was among their strategic targets. However, in the previous day’s attacks, the Soroka hospital—located near the tech complex—was mistakenly struck.
