Kiev attacks Russian guards with 110 drones

The Russian Defense Ministry said the Air Force shot down 110 Ukrainian drones over the country’s western region on Sunday. It comes after 17 people were injured in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih in a Russian ballistic missile attack.

Moscow said 110 drones were aimed at Russian roads. Many of them were targeted in the Russian border region of Kursk, where 43 of them were captured.

Footage posted on social media appears to show air defenses operating over the city of Dzerzhinsk in the Nizhny Novgorod region, accepting a factory producing the explosives.

Local governor Gleb Nikitin wrote on social media on Sunday that four firefighters had been injured in repelling a drone attack in the industrial area of Dzerzhinsk, but gave no further details.

Air strikes in a way that is, of course, my turn have been 2 and a half years since Moscow launched the attack in a worldwide way.

A closing attack was announced on the fund in September by the Russian Defense Ministry, which said it had destroyed 125 drones in seven guards.

Ukrainian officials say 17 people were injured in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih after it was hit by two Russian ballistic missiles.

The attack, which took place late on Saturday evening, damaged homes and businesses, which the head of the local administration Oleksandr Vilkul.

The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia had launched 49 drones and two Iskander-m ballistic missiles overnight. He said 31 of the drones had been shot down in 12 regions, including the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.

On social media, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that by the time of last week, Russia had dropped 800 guided air bombs and more than 500 attack drones over Ukraine.

“Every day, Russia strikes our cities and communities. In pure terror from the enemy, our counter-public, ” he wrote, reiterating calls for continued air strikes by the country’s allies.

“Together in defence, the world can rise up against this terror”.
