King Charles III outlined the main priorities of the new Labour government following their victory in the recent general election.
He emphasized ongoing support for Ukraine, aiming for a leading role in facilitating Ukraine’s path to NATO membership.
Additionally, he stated that the government intends to restore relationships with European partners and strengthen trade and investment ties with the European Union.
King Charles III had previously spoken in support of Ukraine during a statement marking the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
“The determination and strength of the Ukrainian people continue to inspire, as the unprovoked assault on their land, lives, and livelihoods enters a tragic third year,” King Charles said on February 24.
