The Kosovo Liberation Army War Veterans Organization (OVL-UÇK), Ferizaj branch, has strongly condemned the vandalism and arson of a bunker located at Point 6 in the village of Jezerc.

In a public statement, the act was described as “shameful and disgraceful,” emphasizing that the bunker stands as a symbol of the resistance and sacrifice of Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) fighters and martyrs.

“This disgraceful act is an offense to the memory and sacrifice of all martyrs and fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army. This bunker is a symbol of our people’s resistance and every attempt to destroy it is an act against our national heritage,” the statement read.

The OVL-UÇK branch in Ferizaj announced that they will report the case to the Kosovo Police and demand that those responsible be brought to justice as soon as possible.

“We hope those who desecrated this sacred place of our national history will be identified quickly. The Ferizaj branch of OVL-UÇK remains committed to preserving and defending the memory of our liberation struggle,” the statement concluded.
