Arianit Koci, the lawyer representing the family of Afrim Bunjaku, has demanded life imprisonment for the three men currently on trial for the terrorist attack in Banjska.
During today’s court session, Koci stated that the family of Sergeant Bunjaku deserves justice.
“Afrim did not surrender. He was killed, but he did not break,” Koci declared, emphasizing that the attack had a clear objective: the annexation of northern Kosovo.
“We demand justice to be served right where Sergeant Bunjaku gave his life defending it,” he added.
The defendants in this case Vladimir Toliq, Blagoje Spasojević, and Dušan Maksimović—stood before the judicial panel at the Prishtina Basic Court.
The prosecutor, Naim Abazi, presented videos and photographs from the crime scene, aiming to prove the planning and execution of the terrorist attack.
