Together with Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Saranda Bogujevci, and Mayor of Podujevë Shpejtim Bulliqi, the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, paid tribute at the graves of the members of the Bogujevci, Duriqi, and Llugaliu families in Podujevë, who were brutally murdered by Serbian occupying forces on March 28, 1999.

After paying their respects and placing fresh flowers on their graves, the state leaders, during a conversation with the martyrs’ relatives and other citizens, emphasized the commitment of the institutions to complete the efforts and never stop until Serbia takes full responsibility for the crimes it committed in Kosovo.

Speaker Konjufca and Prime Minister Kurti stressed that the massacre of the Bogujevci, Duriqi, and Llugaliu families, in which the majority of the victims were children and women, demonstrates the unparalleled cruelty of Serbia and the scale of the genocide carried out by its state apparatus of violence against our people.

“The memory and tribute to all those who sacrificed for the freedom we enjoy today, and which future generations will enjoy, will be eternal,” they said during the conversation with the victims’ relatives.
