Kosovo’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Glauk Konjufca, met today in Vienna with Austria’s Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl-Reisinger.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on deepening bilateral relations between Kosovo and Austria.
“Deputy Prime Minister Konjufca thanked Minister Meinl-Reisinger for Austria’s early and ongoing contributions to Kosovo in all phases of state-building and international consolidation. He emphasized the importance of Austria’s support for Kosovo’s EU membership application, granting candidate status, and the swift opening of accession negotiations.
Austria remains one of Kosovo’s closest and most steadfast partners on its European path,” the statement reads.
