The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has congratulated his new counterpart in Albania, Elisa Spiropali, on leading the Albanian parliament.
In a Facebook post, he expressed his eagerness to start their joint work to continue and further deepen the cooperation between the assemblies, serving the common interest of the states, citizens, and the Albanian people.
“The Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania naturally stand side by side in every circumstance and in every field, including politics. It is our duty as politicians and heads of institutions to continue our work and that of our institutions at the level of this natural alignment.”
“I am confident that our cooperation with Ms. Spiropali will be guided by these principles, as heads of legislative institutions and in all work related to these institutions. I wish Ms. Elisa Spiropali successful and significant achievements in her new and important role as the head of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania!” said Konjufca.
