Deputy Leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), Glauk Konjufca, has expressed optimism that both the Assembly and the new Government of Kosovo will be established during proceedings scheduled for tomorrow.

Speaking to media, Konjufca stated that he expects the constitutive session of the Assembly to take place as planned, while also hoping that efforts to form the executive branch will be finalized on the same day.

“Tomorrow the Assembly will be formed, and I very much hope that the government will also be formed,” Konjufca said, adding that further details will be discussed afterward.

Konjufca also emphasized that LVV has never rejected rulings issued by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, underlining the party’s position on respecting judicial decisions despite political disagreements.

He referenced the 2014 Constitutional Court ruling, when the court determined that only the election-winning party could form the parliamentary majority. According to Konjufca, LVV accepted the decision and proceeded in accordance with the court’s interpretation.

“We have never rejected Constitutional Court rulings. There have been political battles, but once the Constitutional Court made its decision, we respected it,” he stated.

The upcoming session is considered a key step toward establishing Kosovo’s new institutional leadership following recent political developments.
