The Acting Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, accompanied by political advisor Donik Sallova, is participating in the World Summit in Seoul, South Korea, organized by the Universal Peace Federation.
The summit has gathered dozens of parliamentary leaders from around the globe, along with other prominent political figures.
According to the Assembly’s statement, the main event of the summit was the establishment of the Inter-Parliamentary Conference of Speakers, where Kosovo joined many other countries as a founding member of this new mechanism.
“This high-level platform will serve to strengthen regional cooperation and dialogue among legislative leaders worldwide. Its mission will be to promote the principles of interdependence, shared prosperity, and the spread of common values through parliamentary diplomacy,” the Assembly announced.
In addition to participating in the founding session, Konjufca also took part in various panel discussions, where he presented Kosovo’s perspectives on the challenges reshaping the global order.
The conference is set to conclude tomorrow.
