First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Glauk Konjufca met with Finland’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Eevamari Laaksonen.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting served as an introductory visit following the formation of the new government. Ambassador Laaksonen congratulated Konjufca on his new role and affirmed that Finland will continue to support Kosovo in its democratic development and its path toward European Union integration.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of rule of law and reforms. They also highlighted the important role of the Kosovar diaspora in Finland — numbering around 20,000 people — which serves as a bridge between the two countries.
