The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, today hosted a meeting with the Head of the European Union Rule of Law Mission, EULEX, Giovanni Pietro Barbano.
According to a statement released by the official website of the Assembly, the meeting focused on cooperation between Kosovo and EULEX regarding the rule of law.
Both parties expressed their willingness for continued collaboration.
“The discussions covered issues of cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and EULEX in the field of rule of law, from the perspective of current events and shared goals for widespread legality, vibrant democracy, and long-term stability. The interlocutors emphasized their readiness for ongoing and increasingly substantial cooperation, with the aim of advancing further towards the rule of law,” the statement from the Assembly of Kosovo reads.
Furthermore, the Assembly Speaker thanked Barbano for his visit and appreciated the contribution of the EU Mission in Kosovo.
“He noted that this contribution has positively impacted Kosovo’s capacity to face all the challenges ahead,” it continues.
In conclusion, the head of EULEX thanked Konjufca for the warm welcome and expressed a willingness for deeper cooperation in the field of rule of law.
