A roundtable titled “Interfaith Dialogue According to the Albanian Model” was held at the Bogdanipolis Center, located within the “Mother Teresa” Cathedral building. Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, stated that this Albanian model of religious coexistence should be promoted both academically and organizationally, as it is one of the rare phenomena in today’s societies.
“I truly believe that there is an original Albanian model of religious coexistence, a model that is hard to find elsewhere. Our long history as a humble people shows that at no point has there been a conflict based on religion, while our nation is the bearer of four major monotheistic religions, and it is truly worth studying how no disturbance can be found among our people,” he said.
