The Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, met today with the Head of NATO’s Mission in Kosovo (KFOR), Major General Enrico Barduani.
In the media statement, it was announced that in this first meeting, Konjufca thanked Barduani for his visit and congratulated him on his new role as the head of KFOR.
Konjufca expressed confidence that cooperation between NATO’s mission and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo will continue to deepen, emphasizing that this relationship is essential for optimal security in our country and for sustained regional stability.
He further stated that the security situation in Kosovo is increasingly stable, but Serbia’s destabilizing approach and Russian efforts to interfere in the region highlight the need for a unified and ongoing commitment to uphold order and security.
Barduani thanked Konjufca for the welcome and expressed readiness to work toward strengthening cooperation, aiming to enhance stability in the face of all forthcoming challenges.
