Kosovo has been ranked 141st out of 145 countries in the latest GlobalFirepower military strength index for 2025.
According to the newly published rankings, Kosovo surpasses only four nations: Somalia, the Central African Republic, Benin, and Bhutan.
Meanwhile, Albania holds the 78th position in the same index.
At the top of the list, the United States remains the most powerful military force, followed by Russia, China, India, and South Korea. The top 10 also include the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Turkey, and Italy.
The GlobalFirepower index, which has been evaluating military strength since 2006, considers various factors, including the diversity of weapons, manpower, geographic positioning, and financial power. The ranking is based on dozens of parameters to assess a country’s overall military capability.
