On the occasion of Orthodox Christmas, Kosovo’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, and Minister of Local Governance, Elbert Krasniqi, paid a visit to two Serbian families in Shtërpcë.
Minister Sveçla shared the news on Facebook, stating, “Together with Minister Elbert Krasniqi, we visited the Ilic and Filipovic families in Shtërpcë, who welcomed us to celebrate Orthodox Christmas with them. From these hospitable and hardworking families, we extend heartfelt greetings to all our fellow citizens who celebrate Orthodox Christmas according to the Julian calendar. May your families be filled with joy!”
The visit highlights efforts to foster inter-community harmony and mutual respect in Kosovo, as leaders join in the celebrations of various religious and cultural traditions.
