The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has sent a congratulatory letter to President Donald Trump, who today assumed office as President of the United States.
Osmani stated that Kosovo is ready to work with Trump.
In a statement on “X” on Monday, Osmani said she looks forward to strengthening the Kosovo-US relations with the Trump administration. She also extended her congratulations to Vice President JD Vance.
“Kosovo is ready to work with you, Vice President JD Vance, and your administration to strengthen our special relations, promote our shared values of freedom, and address the challenges of our time. On behalf of the people of Kosovo, I wish you great success,” Osmani said.
The letter highlights that Kosovo remains the most pro-American country in the world.
Additionally, Osmani referenced the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and the commitment to mutual recognition under the Trump administration.
