A Kosovar citizen, identified by the initials F.V., has been extradited from Italy to Kosovo following an international arrest warrant issued by Kosovo’s judicial authorities.
According to the Kosovo Police, the extradition was carried out on January 28, 2026, coordinated by the Directorate for International Police Cooperation in collaboration with relevant police units and judicial institutions, as well as Italian authorities.
The suspect had been arrested in Italy and was wanted for the crimes of document forgery and legalizing false content, having previously evaded justice. Upon arrival in Kosovo, he was handed over to local police units for further legal procedures.
The police emphasized that international cooperation will continue to prevent, investigate, and uncover criminal activities, as well as to track and apprehend wanted individuals both domestically and abroad.
