Kosovar Wins Seat in Hamburg Parliament

Nikola Tunici, a Kosovar living and working in Germany, secured a seat in the Hamburg Parliament in the latest elections.

He ran as a candidate for the CDU party.

Tunici was not the only politician of Kosovar origin to run in the recent elections in Germany. Among them were Kushtim Lulaj, Muahmet Idrizi from the Union CDU, as well as Dafina Berisha, who ran with the SPD, and Sami Musa with the FDP.

The Union CDU/CSU emerged as the winner of the elections in Germany, and Friedrich Merz is expected to be the next Chancellor.
