The acting government of Kosovo, in a meeting held on Wednesday, appointed several individuals to senior positions.

Fikrije Zymberi was appointed as the Executive Director of the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education.

Besa Bytyqi-Baraliu was appointed General Director of the Education Inspectorate, while Sebahate Dushani-Ibrahimi was appointed as the Executive Director of the Kosovo Meteorology Agency.

Labinot Zeqiri was appointed Chief Inspector of the Central Health Inspectorate.

Regarding these appointments, Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that these decisions do not initiate new processes but conclude those started when the government was in full mandate.

“Today, we will make decisions for appointments to senior leadership positions as well as for the formation of ad-hoc or temporary commissions aimed at completing recruitment processes, all of which started before March 22, 2025, when our government moved into caretaker status. In this case, with these decisions, we are not starting new processes but only finishing those that were initiated and developed during our regular mandate,” Kurti declared.
