Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today with Eevamari Laaksonen, the newly appointed Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo.
During the meeting, PM Kurti expressed gratitude for Finland’s continued support to Kosovo, before, during, and after its independence, recognizing Finland’s contributions through FINNIDA and its ongoing role in Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration journey.
Kurti also highlighted Kosovo’s democratic and economic progress, describing the country as one of the most advanced democracies in the Western Balkans and a state fully aligned with EU foreign and security policy.
He emphasized Finland’s support in state-building and strengthening democratic institutions and expressed Kosovo’s commitment to deepening cooperation in education, innovation, technology, defense, and security.
