Kosovo-Albania Cooperation Agreement Signed for the 2030 Mediterranean Games

The Prime Ministers of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and Albania, Edi Rama, signed a cooperation agreement on Friday for organizing the 2030 Mediterranean Games.

This agreement facilitates the organization of sailing events in Durrës, while also officially designating Durrës as one of the host cities for the 2030 Mediterranean Games.

“The 2030 Mediterranean Games in Pristina will be the largest sporting event in the country’s history, contributing directly to the improvement and advancement of sports infrastructure. Moreover, through hospitality, it will represent and promote our republic internationally,” stated the Prime Minister’s office in its official communication.
