Kosovo’s Ambassador to Germany, Faruk Ajeti, stated that for years two banks in Germany had linked Kosovo with Serbia or presented it as part of Serbia.
However, Ajeti said that this will no longer happen as Kosovo’s name now appears as it should.
“Thanks to our response and engagement, as well as cooperation with these banking institutions, the Republic of Kosovo is no longer, and will not be, linked in any way to Serbia, as can be seen from the respective evidence,” he said.
He added that if anyone has encountered a German company or institution where the Republic of Kosovo is not presented correctly, they should contact the embassy.
“If you come across any German institution or company where the Republic of Kosovo is not presented fairly and correctly, please write to us at embassy.germany@rks-gov.net, attaching the relevant evidence, so that such mistakes can be corrected,” he said.
Ajeti also published photographs showing how Kosovo was presented before and after the response.
