Kosovo and Albania Defense Chiefs Meet to Draft 2025–2028 Bilateral Cooperation Plan

A meeting between the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Albania (FARSH) was held today at the Albanian General Staff headquarters, with the goal of drafting a bilateral cooperation plan for the period 2025–2028.

Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, Chief of the General Staff of FARSH, praised the KSF’s progress in its transformation, modernization, and operational performance—especially highlighting its role in bilateral and multinational exercises.

He emphasized the importance of the KSF for the security of Kosovo and the region, and reaffirmed Albania’s full commitment to support in key areas such as education, training, experience exchange, and the advancement of military cooperation between the two forces.

The KSF delegation was led by Colonel Haki Hoti.
