The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo has signed its annual bilateral cooperation plan with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Austria, reinforcing ongoing defense collaboration between the two countries.
The agreement was formalized at the Ministry of Defense in Kosovo, with Colonel Ahmet Ajeti representing Kosovo and Brigadier General Nikolaus Rottenberger representing Austria, according to reports from IndeksOnline.
During the Austrian delegation’s visit, meetings were also held with Faruk Geci, Director of Defense Policies, to review progress in existing cooperation and discuss shared objectives and priorities for the future.
“The Republic of Austria remains an important partner and contributor to the development and stability of Kosovo and the region. Defense cooperation between the two countries continues to advance steadily,” the Ministry of Defense stated.
This agreement highlights both countries’ commitment to strengthening regional security and fostering long-term strategic collaboration in defense.
