This agreement represents a significant institutional step to consolidate union partnership, solidarity, and professional development for police officers in both countries.

The agreement was signed by Avdi Hoti, Chairman of the Kosovo Police Union, and Roma Katinienė, President of LPPS, establishing the foundations of a sustainable international partnership in the union, social, and professional fields.

The cooperation aims to:
Strengthen international union solidarity between police forces of both countries;
Exchange experiences and best practices in protecting police workers’ rights;
Develop joint projects in areas such as education, culture, sports, and social welfare;
Enhance professional and institutional interaction through meetings, trainings, and reciprocal study visits.

The agreement marks a turning point in the internationalization of the Kosovo Police Union, positioning it as an important actor in the European network of police union cooperation.

Delegations from both unions also conducted official meetings in Pejë, visiting institutions and cultural sites, and discussed projects to deepen collaboration and advance the welfare of officers in Kosovo and Lithuania.

This agreement serves as a clear demonstration that solidarity and international cooperation are the true strengths of modern unions, committed to protecting rights, dignity, and professional development of their members.
