Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Kreshnik Ahmeti, met with Malaysia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Datuk Mohamed Alamin, during an official visit to Kuala Lumpur.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MFAD), the meeting marked the formal launch of the political consultation mechanism between the two foreign ministries—a significant step toward strengthening bilateral relations.
The two sides discussed concrete ways to deepen cooperation between Kosovo and Malaysia, with a focus on economic collaboration, academic exchange in higher education, and diplomatic coordination and support.
Deputy Minister Ahmeti expressed his gratitude for Malaysia’s consistent support of the Republic of Kosovo and emphasized the importance of fostering a long-term partnership between the two friendly nations, the MFAD statement added.
