During the Bled Strategic Forum, Kosovo’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, held a high-level meeting with Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon.

The discussions focused on deepening economic cooperation and promoting stronger business links between the two countries, seen as a crucial step toward building a sustainable and long-term partnership between Kosovo and Slovenia.

A key topic addressed was the finalization of the recognition process for Kosovo driver’s licenses in Slovenia, a move expected to significantly ease the lives of Kosovo’s diaspora while further strengthening bilateral ties.

Minister Gërvalla thanked Minister Fajon for Slovenia’s continuous support of Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration, emphasizing that this backing underscores Slovenia’s role as a reliable friend and strategic partner.

“Slovenia’s unwavering support for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration reaffirms its role as a strategic ally and partner of our country,” Minister Gërvalla stated.
