The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo welcomed a high-level delegation from Tanzania, led by Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.

According to the Chamber, the visit was initiated by Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani and served as an opportunity to explore new avenues of economic cooperation between the two nations’ economies and business communities.

Minister Kombo thanked President Osmani for the invitation and for facilitating the meeting with Kosovo’s business community. He emphasized the significant potential for economic partnerships, particularly in agriculture, information and communication technology (ICT), and tourism — sectors where both countries can build strong and mutually beneficial collaborations.

The meeting brought together members of the Chamber’s Board of Governors and representatives from various industries, including manufacturing, trade, technology, agriculture, energy, and mining, for a fruitful exchange on future economic engagement with one of Africa’s most promising markets.

The American Chamber expressed gratitude to Minister Kombo and the Tanzanian delegation for their visit, adding that it looks forward to continuing dialogue and building a sustained partnership between Kosovo and Tanzania.
