Acting Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Ejup Maqedonci, met today with General Metin Tokel, Commander of the Turkish Land Forces, to discuss deepening military cooperation between Kosovo and Turkey.
According to a media statement, the discussions focused on:
- Advancing joint training and military exercises
- Strengthening cooperation in the defense industry
- Exploring future military procurement opportunities aligned with the needs of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) and modern technological developments
Minister Maqedonci expressed gratitude to General Tokel for the continuous contribution of Turkish troops under the KFOR mission and Turkey’s unwavering support for Kosovo’s peace, security, and development.
“Turkey will remain a strategic and valued partner for our country,” Maqedonci emphasized.
