The Kosovo Assembly has failed in its 48th attempt to constitute.
Vetëvendosje (VV) continued its push for a secret ballot to elect the Speaker of the Assembly. However, other parties, including the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), and the Serb List, did not propose any members for the secret ballot commission.
There were 100 deputies present in the hall. “51 deputies for, none against, no abstentions. The session is interrupted,” stated Dehari.
VV’s nominee for the position of Speaker remains Albulena Haxhiu.
