The Assembly of Kosovo has announced that an extraordinary plenary session will be held tonight to address the election of the country’s new president.
According to the official notification, the agenda contains only one item: the election of the President of the Republic of Kosovo.
The session is expected to take place in the Assembly’s plenary hall starting at 22:00, just hours before the constitutional deadline for electing a new president expires.
The late-night session comes amid ongoing political developments and earlier procedural challenges in parliament regarding constitutional amendments and the presidential election process.
Lawmakers are expected to gather once again in an effort to secure the necessary quorum and proceed with the vote, as the country approaches the final constitutional deadline for choosing the head of state.
