Kosovo Assembly to Hold Plenary Session on Friday

The Presidency of the Kosovo Assembly has scheduled the next plenary session for Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

In the absence of consensus on the agenda, Assembly Chairperson Glauk Konjufca will propose the agenda to the session in accordance with her responsibilities.

The first item on the agenda will be the approval of the session’s agenda, followed by the approval of the minutes from the previous session, statements outside the agenda, and parliamentary questions.

The proposed agenda also includes the ratification of several loan agreements:

  • The Credit Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and the International Development Association for the Kosovo Financial Sector Development Project.
  • The Credit Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the French Development Agency for a Policy-Based Credit Program.
  • The Credit Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and KfW, Frankfurt am Main, for the Policy-Based Credit Program in the Energy and Climate Sector.
  • The Credit Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo, represented by the Ministry of Finance and the International Development Association, for the “Trade and Transport Facilitation in the Western Balkans 2.0” project.

Other items on the agenda include:

  • The vote on a Draft Resolution addressing rising fuel prices, the government’s lack of intervention, and the direct impact on the cost of living and economic stability.
  • The election of a non-prosecutor member to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
  • Consideration of the Draft Resolution on the protection of historical truth regarding the 1998–1999 Kosovo War.
  • Proposals from the PDK and AAK parliamentary groups regarding the appointment of deputies to parliamentary committees.

Chairperson Konjufca also announced that ten parliamentary committee reports concerning ten draft laws have been processed ahead of the session.
