The Mountain Rescue Service of Kosovo announced that on October 13, following a call from Albanian authorities, they continued the search for the Lithuanian tourist who went missing on September 5, 2024.
This search was conducted in close coordination with the Albanian Police; however, despite the efforts, no trace has been found.
As a result, the search operations have been suspended until new information is gathered from the responsible authorities.

On October 13, 2024, the Mountain Rescue Service of Kosovo, after another call from Albanian authorities, resumed the search for the Lithuanian tourist missing since September 5, 2024.
The operation was carried out in close cooperation with the State Police. The search was organized in three operational directions: one from the air using drones and two others on the ground, expanding the search perimeter and combing the terrain based on information and expertise provided by telecommunications specialists and responsible authorities in Albania.
Unfortunately, no traces have been found during the search. The operation has been suspended until new information is collected from the relevant authorities.
