Several citizens gathered today at the entrance of the Kosovo Assembly to protest against the ongoing blockade preventing the constitution of institutions after the recent elections.
The protest takes place as the 35th session has been convened in a row in yet another attempt to constitute the Assembly.
Holding signs in their hands, protesters expressed their dissatisfaction with clear messages such as: “Kosovo can’t wait,” “The Constitution is not a political game,” and “The people voted, not to be blocked.”
According to them, the continuous delays in forming institutions are unacceptable and undermine the citizens’ will and the country’s democratic rules.
