Amir Rrahmani, the captain of Kosovo’s national team, has been injured during Napoli’s victory over Atalanta in Serie A.
Napoli defeated Atalanta 3–1 in the 12th round of the Italian championship, played on Saturday at the “Stadio Diego Armando Maradona”. Rrahmani, the leader of Napoli’s defense, was forced to leave the pitch in the 64th minute due to an unexpected injury. He was replaced by Juan Jesus.
In this victory, David Neres scored twice for Napoli, while Noa Lang added the third goal. Atalanta’s only goal came from Gianluca Scamacca, whose effort was not enough to avoid defeat.
Albania’s captain, Berat Gjimshiti, played the entire match for Atalanta.
With this win, Napoli rises to 25 points, strengthening its position in the Serie A standings, while Atalanta, with 13 points, remains mid-table.
Rrahmani, 31, has faced recurring injuries since the start of the season, having already missed 12 matches due to a muscle problem. It now remains to be seen how serious this latest injury is and when he will return to action.
