The Central Election Commission (KQZ) is set to certify the final results of Kosovo’s parliamentary elections held on February 9, 2025, after a prolonged vote-counting process lasting over a month and a half.

The certification will take place during KQZ’s next session at 16:00 today.

Final Steps in the Electoral Process

Alongside certifying the election results, KQZ will also address:

  • The replacement of elected candidates who have chosen to resign from their parliamentary positions.
  • The formal validation of the final results for the new composition of the Kosovo Assembly.

This certification marks the conclusion of Kosovo’s electoral process, allowing the formation of the new government and the beginning of parliamentary work for the upcoming mandate.
